Looking at pictures of the field (Haven't played it yet myself) The field reminded me a lot of Project Reality the Battlefield 2 Mod and I was wondering why no play games similar to those?

It'd be hard to do but if you had enough refs you could designate certain bunkers or areas as "control points" and have them be fought over for control, with a pole and two flags at that position, and whenever a person gets to that position alive and changes flags it alters the ownership of the position and whoever is dead can respawn there.

Then on top of that throw in the Project Reality "weapons Cache" at various places, the Good Guys could get in there and blow it up and the [/i]bad[/i] guys could defend it and use it as a respawn point and the game could last a crazy long time. It'd go great if you were able to incorporate vehicles even if it was nothing except for transportation.

Code:
HR here. . .

Another possibility (apocalypse) I know you're so tired of those ideas. Basically, the crap hit the fan, the world is desolate, and various groups are fighting over the final water sources, ammo dumps, a super weapon that could give them the upper hand. It allows for many different objectives to be had on such a large field, even vehicles that're gunned for would help, aka "we received intel that there is actually a working car out there. . .if we get it we'll have a huge advantage[/i]

Just stuff like that, multiple objectives to hopefully insure that the fight never gets old and that there's always something to do.
